June 2008

12 June 2008: On the For Sale page, two new boats are advertised, one in Hampshire, another in Holland.

April 2008

23 April 2008: In the Boat Shed section a new Cabin Customisation page has been added, showing eleven different boats and providing a commentary on each.
8 April 2008: The Greg's Boating Biography section has been removed from the site and transfered to a new site at: http://www.gregafloat.plus.com. Links throughout this site have edited accordingly.

March 2008

31 March 2008: In the Greg's Boating Biography section, new links have been added to the page about Greg's 1966 holiday aboard the yacht Buzzard which itself has had more pictures added.
30 March 2008: In the Boat Shed section, there is a new Tabernacle page.
26 March 2008: In the Boat Shed section, the Keel page has been rewritten and a page added about Little Auk's repairs. The revised Engines - Inboard page has pictures of an official engine installation.
In the Gallery section, a new sub-section has been created, for the "Rest of the World". This includes a boat in the Canary Islands and the United States.
23 March 2008: On the For Sale page, The owner of "Mara", has decided to keep the boat so the details have been removed.
In the Boat Shed section, there is a new Security page describing a modification to the Fore Hatch bolt. The Builder's Marks and Through Hull Fittings page have new material added.
In Greg's Boating Biography Section, the report of the Three Rivers Race 2006 has been significantly extended.

January 2008

19 January 2008: On the For Sale page "Charlotte", has been reported sold and the details removed.

August 2007

2 August 2007: On the For Sale page "Dipper", the boat lying in Norfolk at Oulton Broad has been sold, so has been removed. The boat lying in Berkshire has been reduced in price.

July 2007

23 July 2007: The For Sale page now includes pictures of the boat lying at Oulton Broad.
20 July 2007: The For Sale page now shows a boat lying in Norfolk at Oulton Broad.

June 2007

15 June 2007: On the For Sale page, the Gloucestershire-based boat has been sold and removed from the page.

May 2007

22 May 2007: The For Sale page now includes a boat ashore at Reading.
14 May 2007: The For Sale page now shows a boat lying in Gloucestershire.
10 May 2007: The For Sale page now shows a boat lying in Scotland.

April 2007

27 April 2007: Within the web master's Boating Biography a sketch map has been added to the Three Rivers Race 2006 page together with some minor revisions to the text.
24 April 2007: On the Home page the main image has been changed, a Site Search facility and a link to the web master's Boating Biography has been added. The Boating Biography is a new section not featured in the main menu system. Other minor changes to the wording on the page have also been made.
In the Description section, additional images and revisions to the text appear in the section describing the Age of Sails.
In the Boat Shed section, pages have been added on applying SeaHawk Insignia to the hull, various Cockpit Adaptations and Engine Installations.
On the For Sale page, all boats have been sold or withdrawn from sale so have been removed from the page.

December 2006

21 December 2006: The For Sale page has had another boat added. This one is based on the Norfolk Broads.
Where ever you are on the site, you should now notice that your Favorites, Browser tabs and similar locations, should now show a SeaHawk icon.

October 2006

3 October 2006: The For Sale page has a new boat, based in Sussex, added.

July 2006

6 July 2006: The Promotion section has been divided so that the Magazine, Owner and User Reviews now appear in their own section. An update has been added to the review by Tim Stringer.
In the Boat Shed section, the Keel page has much new material. Existing and new material appears on pages showing work in progress on the boats Sea Holly and Core'ngrato.

June 2006

15 June 2006: In the History section, information has been added about a Mk6 design for the SeaHawk.
In the Boat Shed section, the pages dealing with Trailers have been further sub-divided, to separate general information from those about specific trailer types.
On the For Sale page, another boat, based in Cheshire, is offered.

May 2006

26 May 2006: In the Boat Shed section, the Restoration sub-section has been divdied into Repaint and Refit sections. Each new sub-section has its own index page to allow easier navigation within these areas. The Refit Section has new pages showing the reconstruction of Child Berth in a two berth boat. Some minor changes to wording have been made to existing pages in the Refit and Repaint sections.
In the Gallery section, the page for Pippin now include links to the Child Berth page and other minor wording changes.
25 May 2006: In the Boat Shed section, a page about an extended Tiller has been added.
In the Promotion section, a new sub-section has been added containing SeaHawk User Reviews posted by individuals on the Internet. This contains material from Tim Stringer and Tony Bennett.
23 May 2006: In the Boat Shed section, on the Mast Bracing page, more background has been added to the Alternative #1 option. A new page has been added discussing Builders Marks. Another new page shows photographs of Sea Holly undergoing repairs to its Keel which had become seized.
22 May 2006: In the Boat Shed section, there is a new page discussing Shroud fixings. There is a link to this page from a slightly edited Rigging section of the Sails page.
18 May 2006: The Home Page has a new picture to reflect the changing season.
In the Boat Shed section, on the Mast Bracing page, two ways of providing bracing are described. One using a Central Post, another using Extended Bulkheads and Beam.
In the Description section, on the Sails page, additional information about the Age of Sails has been added. On the For Sale page there is a Norfolk-based boat available.

February 2006

3 Feb 2006: The Home Page now includes reference to the more recent builders of the boat and the main picture has been changed to reflect the season.
The History page has new content in the Early Designs section. The After Moore section has been divided as there is more information on Pyefleet Boat Sales. There is a new page describing a 1964 prototype SeaHawk. The Jeckells Memo page now contains links to this new page.
In the Promotion Section, there is a new Pyefleet Boat Sales section, and new pages showing a PBS Handbill and articles from Boat Mart, Yachting World and Practical Boat Owner.
In the Description Section, information about the Senorita has been added to the Pedro page. References to the Senorita have been added to the Yawl Rigged boat page.
In the Gallery section, the thumbnails for UK-based boats now show those for newest boats added to the gallery. Text relating to the builder of the boats Almaz and Isolde has been moved to those discussing the history of the SeaHawk after Moore.

January 2006

27 Jan 2006: In the UK section of the Gallery, two new pages have been added: Sea Holly, a boat based at Blakeney Point, and Apline Dawn, based at Wells-next-the-Sea.
16 Jan 2006: In the Gallery section an image has been removed from the Isthmos page.
13 Jan 2006: In the Boat Shed section a page has been added about replacing the Cabin Windows.
5 Jan 2006: In the British section of the Gallery, under Hertfordshire, a page has been added for Pippin, a boat previously listed on the For Sale page.

November 2005

15 Nov 2005: In the Boat Shed section the Trailer page has been re-written and expanded to reflect current knowledge. There are now separate pages for the "Official", Purpose-Built and Standard trailers. New photographs appear on the latter two pages.
Previously, the site has referred to "bilge bulges" for what is now recognised the original sales brochures referred to as "bilge fins". Minor wording changes have been made throughout the site to reflect this new terminology.
10 Nov 2005: In the British section of the Gallery the following pages have been updated: Almaz (previously - Unnamed at Weybread Pit) and Isolde. Almaz is now listed as being from Essex.
8 Nov 2005: The image on the Home page has changed.
In the British section of the Gallery the following pages have been added: Core'ngrato, Unnamed at Weybread Pit and Isolde, and new information added to these pages: Penny.
A new advertisement appears on the For Sale page.
7 Nov 2005: The Gallery Section has been divided into separate sections for British and European boats.
The British Gallery has nine new pages covering boats found at Blakeney, Norfolk and one that was for sale in Cowes, IOW. There is additional or corrected information and photographs on the following pages: Beagle, Isthmos, Last Resort, Sapphire and SeaHawk #113.
The European Gallery has new pages for boats from Denmark and Germany.
In the Description Section, on the Hull and Cabin page there is an additional illustration of a four-berth interior and on the Sails page a correction concerning the option for spinnakers.

October 2005

28 Oct 2005: The WorkShop Section has been renamed Boat Shed. In that section, the Doors and Hatches page has been expanded to cover a warning about all infilled panels in the superstructure of the boat and is now named Through Hull Fittings.
In the Description Section, The Hull and Cabin page has several more pictures and much more detail in the text. There are more pictures on the Pedro page and a new page describing another SeaHawk variant with Yawl Rig.
The History page has a link to the new "Yawl Rig" page.
17 Oct 2005: With another sale notified, the For Sale page now looks rather empty!

September 2005

12 Sep 2005: With the boats sold, the first three adverts appearing on the site have been removed. Another boat is now for sale! See the For Sale page. Links on the page to a boat for sale in Holland were removed the same day, as the boat was sold the day before.

June 2005

19 Jun 2005: In the Boat Shed Section, corrected the aft end waterline measurements on the Waterline page.

April 2005

28 Apr 2005: The first three private adverts have been added to the For Sale page.
5 Apr 2005: A new page has been added about the Pedro, a design that uses the same hull as the SeaHawk. It is linked from the History page and in the Description Section, the Hull and Cabin page.

February 2005

1 Feb 2005: Technical changes mean that the menu is now hidden when printing pages on the site. This change should also ensure that no text is lost at the right margin of any page.
On the Feedback page there is now has a link (external) to a list of Previous Postings on the Mail List.
In the Description Section, there have been clarifications made on the Index and Sails and Rigging pages.
In the Boat Shed Section a new Water Line page provides measurements for accurate application of anti-fouling.
In the Gallery Section added more information about Scorpio.

January 2005

27 Jan 2005: In the Gallery Section, added pages about a boat based in Dorset and and another in Chester.
18 Jan 2005: In the Gallery Section, added a new page about further boats based at Rutland Water. Added more information to the pages about Devon (a Dutch Boat) and Scorpio (which has an inboard engine).
Found and corrected a host of broken internal links, which revealed, in the Boat Shed section, a hitherto inaccessible page in the restoration sequence.
17 Jan 2005: The old "Publicity" page has been expanded to become the new Promotion Section. The menu on every page has been adjusted accordingly. The section includes both Reedcraft and Moore's brochures, the 1986 and 1991 pricelists and order forms and both English and Dutch press cuttings.
The History page has changed to reflect some of the new information revealed in the price lists.
In the Gallery Section, the following pages have updated in the light of the new information: Boat #412, Un-named at Hickling
The Description page has been expanded into a section containing pages on the Hull and Cabin and Sails and Rigging. The later page is an expanded version of the one that used to be in the Boat Shed section.
In the Boat Shed Section, on the Trailers page, there has been an amendment to the measurements section.
4 Jan 2005: In the Main Section of the site, significant additional material has been added to the Internal Options section of the Description page and the Publicity page has been updated.
In the Gallery Section, new pages have been added for the boats, Clocharde and Penny, and a broken link fixed on the page for Devon.
In the Boat Shed Section, minor changes have been made to the Mast Bracing page.

November 2004

22 Nov 2004: In the Gallery Section a new Dutch Colony has been created, with four boats featured.
18 Nov 2004: On the History page, some further information, from Mike Lankester, has been added.
11 Nov 2004: In the Gallery Section, a new "SeaHawk Launch" page has been added.
In the Boat Shed Section, a new Trailers page has been added.
5 Nov 2004: In the Gallery Section, a new Rutland Water Colony section has been created. Additional pictures appear on two of the Hickling Colony pages (#412 and #311).
In the Boat Shed Section, more information has been added to the Electric Outboard and Sails pages.

October 2004

22 Oct 2004: In the Boat Shed Section, a new series of 14 pages have been added showing the internal and external restoration of a SeaHawk.
8 Oct 2004: In the Gallery Section, the descriptions of SeaHawk #311 and SeaHawk #412 and has been revised.
The Boat Shed page has been divided into a multi-page section of the site, so additional information can be provided without an individual page growing too large. A better lit photograph appears on the Mast Bracing page. A new Sails page has been created within the new section (with far more questions than answers, at present!

September 2004

23 Sep 2004: The Boat Shed page now has a description of the use of an Electric Outboard on a SeaHawk. An additional picture appears in the Gallery Section showing the engine.
Some boats has disappeared from Brokers web sites. Accordingly, the For Sale page has had some entries removed.
15 Sep 2004: On the Description page the notes on Dimensions have been expanded, with the discovery of one of the two "tall mast" boats.
New information has been added to the page describing SeaHawk #412.
14 Sep 2004: On the Boat Shed page an item on Mast Bracing has been added. In the section on "Hatch and Door Fittings" on that page, references to "Balsa" have been removed. Now it only refers to "wood".
The Promotion page has had a major re-write. The images of the Reedcraft brochure have been replaced by colour thumbnails from a slightly later Moores version of the brochure. The images of these each appear on a dedicated page.
The History page has had some minor updates added.
9 Sep 2004: The picture on the Home Page has been replaced. The original has been moved to the Description page. The Gallery Page now has links to a sequence of 12 pictures of a SeaHawk on Lake Como in Italy, and a further three pictures of a boat from Rutland Water.

August 2004

2 Aug 2004: The description of Reed Nibbler has slightly amended wording to take account of the realisation that she carries reduced area sails.

July 2004

20 Jul 2004: The Description page has more detailed information about sail sizes.
Throughout the site, links to the Promotional Material page are now directed more precisely to the relevant part of the page.
In the Gallery Section three further boats are described, all based at moorings around Martham, Norfolk. One of these is a rare example with inboard engine.
15 Jul 2004: The Description page has been reorganised with corrections and additional material about cabin roof bracing and four berth boats. A much larger (and legible) version of the technical drawing (530kb) is also available, linked from this page. This new information has necessitated changes in the commentaries on some boats in the Gallery section. These are: Lady Nora and Unnamed. Further pictures have been added to the pages describing Sapphire and Reed Nibbler, and there is an additional page describing Pip II. The Boat Shed page has additions to the Cabin Door section. The For Sale page now has links to a number of SeaHawks on the market with various yards and brokers.
2 Jul 2004: An addition to the Boat Shed page has been made, adding a section on repairs to the hatch and cabin door.
1 Jul 2004: The Boat Shed page has it's first contents, a section on releasing rigid Goosenecks.

June 2004

30 Jun 2004: In the Gallery Section, added material on the Hickling Colony. There are now additional pages covering the boats, Angela, Sapphire and Reed Nibbler. There are also additional pictures and text describing an elderly SeaHawk.
17 Jun 2004: In the Gallery Section, added material on the Hickling Colony covering descriptions of half a dozen boats and a number of photographs.
